In the pavilion of The Murray Hotel, Mián offers an outdoor area where guests can enjoy a cocktail before dining.

Whisky Punch
There is a nice touch of
ginger in the Honey Whisky, which is actually quite sweet. Surprisingly, it
complements our main course, Chili Lamb, perfectly.
Figy Sour
Refreshing taste but is strong. The drink is a mixture of gin and alcohol. This cocktail also works well as a balance for our spicy main course.
As
the restaurant's chef Ronald Shao is Sichuan-born, we thought why not focus on
spicy dishes?
Razor Clam.
Aromatic Ginger 鮮沙薑礓蟶子皇 $198
A non-spicy appetizer to start with. The quantity is small, but the way it is served is elegant and therefore gains points. Whenever I eat razor clams, I always enjoy their chewy, meaty, sweet, and fresh taste.

Fried lamb meat.
Nuts. Chili 果仁辣子羊 $488
Typical of Schuan cuisine, this Chili dish is smothered in red peppers. Lamb meat is chopped into small cubes, tender, juicy and spicy. In the chili pool, we pick up pecan, cashew, and pistachio as treasures.
As mentioned above, we were so smart to have order 2 cocktails that perfectly match this spicy dish.
Red Bean Soup. Walnut 紅棉露 $78
A double soup with both red bean and walnut. Trust me, it was very tasteful.
